The service

Give a Gift is software an organization (a church or charity) uses to run its annual gift-donation drive: partner agencies submit gift recipients, donors adopt them, and gifts are checked in on drop-off day. Using the app — as an organizer, volunteer, or donor — means you accept these terms. The organization running your drive is responsible for the drive itself; Give a Gift provides the software.

Text messaging program

• When you adopt an angel and agree to receive texts, Give a Gift sends you an adoption confirmation and may send gift drop-off reminders on behalf of the organization running your drive.
• Consent to receive texts is not a condition of donating.
• Message frequency varies — typically one confirmation per adoption, plus occasional drop-off reminders. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to any message to opt out; you will receive one final message confirming the opt-out. Reply HELP for help, or email support@giveagift.io.
• Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

Acceptable use

Volunteer and organizer access is for running the drive. Recipient information is confidential: use it only to match and deliver gifts, and never share it outside the drive.

Disclaimer

The service is provided as-is, without warranties, and may change or be unavailable at any time. To the extent permitted by law, Give a Gift and the organizations using it are not liable for indirect or consequential damages arising from use of the service.
